Panda (Yilin Shangguan)
Coach Panda formerly represented China in the Chinese Women's Volleyball National Team and was a National Games Champion. She was also part of the renowned Bayi Women's Volleyball Club and Hebei Province Club both based in China. Furthermore, she was recognized as a National Elite Athlete. After retiring, Coach Panda became a volleyball coach and has been coaching for over 15 years. She has worked as a head coach for Eclipse Volleyball Club, Mountain View Volleyball Club, and Monta Vista High School. Coach Panda has a master's degree in Physical Education.
Yun Wang
Coach Wang began training as a professional volleyball player back in 1987. She was known for playing the Middle Blocker and Setter positions. She has also represented universities in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, and Beijing at the provincial and national volleyball matches all while achieving outstanding results.
Jimmy Ip
Coach Jimmy has coached volleyball for 10 years. He played as a setter and outside hitter for UCD Men's Volleyball Club. In addition to volleyball, he also plays badminton and has won a CCS Gold and Silver medal in mixed doubles. 2016-2018: girls youth teams assistant coach, boys youth teams head coach. 2018: Boys 12-Black Head Coach. 2018-2019: Boys 12-Red Assistant Coach. 2019-2020: Eclipse Girls 16 Head Coach, Boys 13-Red Assistant Coach. 2020-2022: Boys 14-Red Assistant Coach2021-2022: Girls 18-White Assistant Coach.
Awards: Bronze Medal in SoCal Cup Showcase Boys 14 Open (2022). Premier League Champions Girls 18-White (2022). Bronze Medal NCVA Sierra National Qualifier Girls 18-White (2022)
Played Club Volleyball in college as MB, then many years of grass and sand doubles in the Bay Area. He was head coach for four years at the school level, and has assisted for many of the 9 years that his daughters played for Eclipse Volleyball Club. He was also the "Stats Coach" for 7 years at Monta Vista High School, and believes in the importance of understanding when data can help improve a team, and when it comes down to motivation, heart and determination.
Chuck Tong
Coach Tong played outside hitter on high school and college teams. He see volleyball as a life time passion. He served as assistant coach at Eclipse volleyball club and took the team to become regional champion. He is an IMPACT Certified coach and has NFHS Coaching Certification.
Brian Posadas
Coach Brian has been playing volleyball for 20 years and coaching high school boys and girls for 10 years. He played 4 years of varsity at SJND(St. Joseph Notre Dame) in Alameda as an OH and Setter, winning 3 league titles with 2nd team all league, 1st team all league, and MVP honors during 2005, 2006 and 2007. He also coached at SJND as an assistant and head coach for boys and girls JV and Varsity from 2011-2015. Coach Brian continued to play competitively while attending San Jose State and continues to play in adult grass and indoor leagues. He has coached for Eclipse Volleyball Club as a head coach since 2016 and The King's Academy High School JV boys and girls since 2019.
Coach Brian continues to strive to create a fun, positive and competitive team environment in order for his team to reach their full potential. NFHS and Impact certified.
Xiaoqian Shen
Coach Xiaoqian Shen's volleyball journey, starting in elementary school and culminating in a 15-year career, is truly remarkable. Her team’s winning 1st place in the Chinese Youth Volleyball Competition during middle school set the stage for her future successes. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Business Management from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. As team captain, Coach Xiaoqian led her team win the China National College Volleyball League championships for incredible six consecutive years. Her personal awards include multiple MVP, Best Attacker, and Best Middle Blocker. Xiaoqian has a passion for coaching and she pushes the potential for each and every one of the players she coaches.
Kerri Hernandez
Coach Kerri has been passionate about volleyball for as long as she can remember, officially starting her journey at the age of 10. Her club career began at City Beach, where she earned a silver medal in the 14 USA National Division and a bronze medal in the 15 Open Division as the team’s only libero. In her 16s summer, she represented the U.S. in the Global Challenge in Europe. A dynamic and versatile player, Kerri also played setter and cross-trained in beach volleyball every summer.
She continued her volleyball journey while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa on Oʻahu, blending her academic and athletic passions.
Coach Kerri is currently the head varsity coach at Lynbrook High School for the upcoming 2025–2026 season. Known for her inclusivity and high standards, she brings heart, discipline, and a team-first mindset to every program she leads. Her mission is to inspire players to never give up, support one another, and grow both as athletes and individuals.
